Grand Junction Mom Has Sex with Underage Son’s Bestfriend

Wendy Crowell, a 36-year-old mother in Grand Junction has been accused of having sexual affairs with her underage son's best friend was arrested March 1 and faces up to seven criminal charges, six being felonies.

The alleged relationship between Crowell and the underage victim, began in June of 2012 where the boy's mother alerted Grand Junction police.

The arrest affidavit claims Crowell told the underage boy, "... pretend to be 18 for the night..." while he was sleeping over at Crowell's house.

The teen told authorities that the sex was consensual and had taken place five times over about a three week period.

The boys mother became suspicious after she found 'flirtatious' texts from Crowell on his phone, Crowell stated that she exchanges texts with all her sons friends.

Crowell is in custody at the Mesa County Jail with bond set at $10,000. She is next due in court March 14.
