Chipotle is giving away free guacamole on National Avocado Day

Tuesday, July 31st is National Avocado Day! To celebrate Chipotle Mexican Grill is letting you add the guac for free. "Our fresh, homemade guacamole has a massive fan following," says Chris Brandt, Chipotle's chief marketing officer. "We want to show our love for the avocado and reward our customers' guac obsession." I've always been a Chipotle fan. I've visited the local store in every market I've worked in including here in Grand Junction.

Now for the free guacamole deal. There's some action that must be taken on your part. The deal is for online or mobile app orders only. Log on and create an account on the Chipotle website or download the app. It's free for both Apple and Android users. Order a burrito, bowl, or any entree and choose the guac as an add-on or a side item. Click on the "View or Redeem Offers" tab and add the offer. Enter the code word AVOCADO and check out. The local store is at 2504 US-6, Grand Junction, CO.
