This is odd and a bit unnerving. A man fired from a Grand Junction funeral home was caught with the remains of four people in his car.

This story is strange from beginning to end. James Robert Lee II, 39, was originally arrested recently in the small town of Louisiana, Missouri on methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia charges.

On September 23, Lee had gone to the Louisiana City Hall to tell the police that his GPS said he was being followed. Lee was arrested at his parents home for calling the police again.

The remains are from 2005 to 2008 and were traced back to Callahan-Edfast Mortuary right here in Grand Junction, Colo.

Lee had the four boxes of cremated remains in his car for several years and was supposed to spread the ashes in the Rocky Mountains before he was fired.

Callahan-Edfast Mortuary is currently seeking the cremated remains in order to honor the wishes of the deceased.
