Grand Junction Bicycle + Motorcycle Crash Sends Both Riders to the Hospital

Usually, when you hear of  a motorcycle collision it is with a car. This time, it was with a bicycle and both riders lose.

The crash happened Sunday night (March 27) on 29 Road near the I-70 Business Loop and closed part of the roadway while emergency crews attended to the victims.

According to KKCO-TV and the Grand Junction Police Department, the motorcyclist was traveling north on 29 Road when the bicyclist turned in front of him.

Both victims received multiple injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown at this time. It's also unknown if either rider was wearing a helmet.
