Rock-N-Roll fans October 1st the ‘Gear Jammer’ himself Mr. George Thorogood is coming to the Avalon Theater. Thorogood is out his band the Destroyers celebrating 40 years of kick-ass Rock-N-Roll and they are going to stop in Grand Junction for a show.

The last time George Thorogood played in town was 10 years ago and the way I remember it he put on a great show that night.

Thorogood released his first album in 1977 and since then has put 16 studio albums, 5 live albums and 6 compilation releases. He will add to that this fall when he will release his ‘Live at Montreux’ DVD.
