I admit I haven't ridden a bicycle in a long time, but now that I have one, where should I ride?

There are a number of places you can take your bike and get out and enjoy Western Colorado from a bicycle seat. Let's take a look at a few and see why we should ride there!

Take a look at all of these trails! You can figure which you would like to ride by how long you want to go and how far. With in this trail area are 15 trails you can ride, based on how well you ride and your bike, of course. Check out the Ribbon, the Gunny Loop, or Eagle's Wing for some fun and interesting rides.

Depending on how long you want to ride, and how difficult, there are plenty of trails here for you to ride and enjoy. The Clunker isn't too technical, but there are a few challenging spots along this trail. Butterknife is a long trail with many challenges. If you're a new rider, you may want to pick another trail. A fun, intermediate ride can be found at Miramonte Rim. Not too strenuous, but enough of a challenge to make it fun.

There are a few trails for you to get started on. Let me remind you of a few things. Make sure you bring a lot of water. Staying hydrated is important. Also, don't forget to sunblock before you go out. There's nothing like a bad sunburn to turn a nice ride into a few painful weeks! Safety items like a helmet and knee and elbow pads will help too.

Have fun!
