For those of you looking to get out of town for a few days, whether this weekend or anytime, here are some cool things you can do throughout the state.

Tour Coors Brewery-Golden

Nothing like a beer tour to exemplify cool, right? You can see where and how they make the beer and, at the end of it, get three full pulls of your favorite Coors beverage! Ride the tour bus to the brewery and get your free ticket and have some fun!

Stand on the stage at Red Rocks-Morrison

Imagine you, on stage at Red Rocks! Well, now you don't have to imagine! Plus, you can tour the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and get some hiking in while you're there. Make sure you take friends with you so they can get pictures of you on stage, rocking the house!

Tube Down Vail Mountain-Vail

That's right. Tubing. 550 feet long, this exhilarating run will have you laughing while you stay cool. It's a lot cooler up there and the water helps keep you cool. Too fun!

Take a train ride-various

Take a train ride through some of the most beautiful and awe inspiring areas the state has to offer. Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad in Antonito, the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum, and the Georgetown Loop Historic Railroad are three examples of short trips you can take by rail that will have you ooohing and ahhhing all day!

Rafting-Various

Now here is one way to stay cool and have fun at the same time. If you've never been rafting, this is the time to go! Royal Gorge Rafting and Noah's Ark Colorado Rafting and Adventure Park will have you laughing and having fun the entire time, except of course when you hit the big rapids, then you'll be laughing and holding on!
