Western Slope on Tap is just around the corner, Saturday, March 4 to be exact, and I am super stoked for this event! Check out the five beers I can't wait to try.

Over 100 different beers to try, and I only have 3.5 hours to do it in! Plus, some good friends of mine in the local music scene will be performing, The Williams Brothers Band. James was the first person in town to give me a shot, musically, I can’t wait to support his project while sampling the greatest beer in America!

Here are 5 of the brews that I can’t wait to try at Western Slope on tap:

#1 - Namaste:

Brewery - Dogfish

Namaste is made with dried organic orange slices, lemongrass, and coriander. It’s a Belgian-style white beer, this brew is definitely on my list to sample at the event, I’m just hoping I leave some room for the other brews!

Brewery - Breckenridge

Autumn Ale is a combination of a Traditional German Lager with a lighter, crisper American-style Ale. Autumn Ale is supposed to have a very crisp and malty flavor, full-bodied, nutty and sweet taste. This will be one of my first choices at the event.

#3 - Gruit:

Brewery - New Belgium

Gruit is an experimental beer and part of the Lips of Faith beer series at New Belgium. Instead of hops, New Belgium practiced the ancient art of bittering herbs. Herbs in this beer include horehound, bog myrtle, yarrow, wormwood, and elderflowers. Combine those buttered herbs with rich malts, for a velvet-like, dry sweetness. I cannot wait to try this beer!

Brewery - Boulder

Dragonhosen is a beer to be feared, packed full of Vienna and Munich malts, perfectly powered with a balance of Hallertau and Saaz hops. Earthy, moderately bitter, and 9% alcohol by volume. I have a feeling this one is going to kick my butt, and I can’t wait!

Brewery - Moab

This is an unfiltered wheat (my favorite), another brew that utilizes the zest of orange peel and coriander for a heavy citrus overtone. I already know I’m going to love this one.

Which beers are you looking forward to trying? If you can convince me that I should try the beer you want me to, I'll get a video of me trying it at the event!
