Firefighters are working to contain two fires that are burning in Colorado. Officials currently do not expect any force evacuations, but that could change if the fires are not contained.

The fire near Kenosha Pass has burned some 250 acres and should be contained by Monday evening. The other fire has burned some 38 acres and is on the Ute tribal land near Durango.

The lack of rain fall and windy conditions have made the situation ripe for wildfires so be careful out there. It only takes a small spark to turn the dry grass and brush into a raging fire.

There are thunderstorms in the forecast this week so keep an eye out and call the fire department if you see any wildfires start.
