There is not a normal human being that can tell me that they don't have their favorite color of Skittles, Starbusts, Jolly Ranchers, and Froot Loops. But there seems to be a little problem with that statement... Every flavor of Fruit Loops taste the same!

No need to argue with your buddies about the orange tasting better than the green, which taste better than the blue. Those colors along with purple, yellow, and red all taste exactly the same.

According to TIME Magazine:

(The) multicolored O’s that make up Froot Loops don’t actually represent different fruit flavors. Reddit’s Today I Learned series recently unearthed a 1999 article from the Straight Dope, which confirms that “according to Kellogg’s, all of those delectable loops are flavored the same.”

So if you are anything like me and assumed the yellow was lemon, the green was apple, the purple was grape, and so on, which all crunched together in your mouth to make a fruit punch sort of taste... You were wrong. Instead, all those fruit flavors were crunched in some factory and put to all the colored loops, and according to Wikipedia that flavor is called "FROOT."

Turns out that Fruity Pebbles and Trix are most likely all the same flavor too... I suppose next they are going to try to tell us all the different M&M colors taste the same too, huh? ;)
