Female Body Found Near Collbran Identified as Missing Person
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office has identified the female body found near Collbran, Colo. as 18-year-old Ashley Doolittle.
Ashley Doolittle was found in a truck owned by her ex-boyfriend near Collbran, Colo. on Friday (June 10). Ashley and her ex-boyfriend Tanner Flores were reported missing on Thursday (June 9).
According to the Larimer County Coroner's Office, Doolittle's death was a result of a gunshot to the head and has been ruled a homicide. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office and the Mesa County Sheriff's Office are still investigating the case.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is working with the Larimer County District Attorney's office to file the appropriate charges again Tanner Flores. Flores is currently being held in Mesa County, but will be transferred to Larimer County Jail soon.
