Dumb Drunk: Man Decides to Steal and Drive Riding Lawnmower while Drunk

After a day of drinking ideas that would sound like a bad idea to a normal person all of the sudden seem like a good idea. That is until the police catch up with you. For some dumb drunks, the perfect getaway quickly turns into a poor plan.

Instead of just walking home George K. Barkley decided that he needed a quicker mode of transportation. After drinking on Wednesday March 6, 2013 the 28-year old from Bath, New York decided to steal a riding lawnmower.

The owner apparently realized pretty quickly that his riding mower was gone, because police were told by dispatchers to 'be on the lookout' for the stolen mower.

The Craftsman riding lawnmower and the drunk the thief were found riding down the street. He was busted with a blood alcohol content of .10% and booked into jail on charges of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation.
