The downtown Grand Junction streets are no longer blocked off on Thursday evenings but you can still snag fresh fruit and veggies.

The party's just been moved and downsized. It's the 4th annual Fall Produce Market and it kicks off this Thursday and continues every week through the end of October. You can find this smaller version of the Farmer's Market in the parking lot at the 400 block of Colorado from 3-6pm.

September and October are prime time for peppers, squash, onions, pumpkins, potatoes, apples, and much more. Make plans to cruise by and grab some of the season's best and the Grand Valley freshest goodies for your dinner table. Since you're already downtown you might as well stop in for dinner or an adult beverage at one of the many restaurants and bars. Downtown Grand Junction is cool and any reason to come down is a good one.
