Denver Broncos’ Gigantic 28-Point Spread Against Lowly Jacksonville Jaguars Makes History
The Denver Broncos are piling on points the way people pile on pounds during the holiday party circuit. And that does not bode well for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Broncos are 28-point favorites over the Jaguars for their matchup this coming weekend in the Mile High City, tying the largest spread in NFL history. The Baltimore Colts were also 28-point favorites when they took on the expansion Atlanta Falcons in 1966. The Falcons covered.
The Broncos have won 16 consecutive regular season games, while the Jaguars haven't tasted victory since week 12 last season. If there wasn't a government shutdown, we'd be inclined to ask for federal assistance getting the Jaguars off the field after what, on paper, looks like will be an ugly loss.
