As we expected, the 2014 Denver Broncos will again this year get plenty of national exposure with five nationally televised games.

The Broncos will be featured on the first Sunday night telecast against the Indianapolis, and will have Sunday night games on October 19th and November 30th against Kansas City. Denver is featured on one Thursday night game. That will be October 23rd against San Diego. The only Monday night game for the Big Orange will be December 22nd against Cincinnati.

In all likelihood, several of the Broncos Sunday afternoon games will be going to most of the nation as a network featured game.

While the early part of the schedule is favorable for the Broncos with five of their first seven games at home, the downside will be six of the next 8 games will be on the road. How about the extra short turn around following the Sunday night game on October 19th and then have to play again on Thursday. At least both games are at home.

If the Broncos are going to be the #1 seed in the playoffs again this year they will have earned it with a tough schedule featuring 2013 playoff teams Indianapolis, San Francisco, New England, Seattle, and Cincinnati, plus an Arizona team that most expect to be a playoff contender this year. As if that's not tough  enough, the AFC West teams are all getting better.
