Dave Matthews Band is coming to Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre.

One of the best live bands on the planet is coming to Denver. The Dave Matthews Band may not be hard rock but if you've seen them you know, they put on on an amazing show! One of the best live bands ever with a resume' to back it up. Check this out, DMB was the first group to have six studio albums in a row debut at #1. Metallica would be #2. Also, Dave Matthews Band has had incredible success selling over 50 million records worldwide with sold-out shows on every tour.

There's a new album set to be released soon too. The new record will be their ninth studio album. I'm certain the band will be showcasing some of the new stuff when they hit the stage at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village on August 24th and 25th. Tickets are $45.50-$115.00 and go on sale Friday, February 2ed at 10 a.m.

Dave Matthews Band has a long and cool Colorado connection. They recorded their 4th live album at Folsom Field in 2001. That was a challenging gig. Delayed by bad weather, unruly fans, and a long setlist, the band was fined $1,000 for each of the 15 minutes it played past the 10:30 p.m. Boulder city curfew.

In 2008, they and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers played at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. That was part of the Mile High Music Festival. That concert was the largest music festival in Colorado history. Their performance that night produced yet another live album.

If you've not experienced a Dave Mathews show, you must go. If you love great live music, a fan or not, it's worth the price of admission. And if you're a fan, there's nothing more to say other than "we'll see you there."
