Dave Grohl Sketches a Nude Model + Pays Respect to Sepultura on ‘Late Late Show’
The Late Late Show With James Corden is only in its third week on the air, but it’s already making a splash in the late night talk show arena. On Monday, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl stopped by and got the chance to stare at a naked old dude. Yes, you read that right. Watch the clip above to see the musician alongside Furious 7 actress Jordana Brewster, former Office actor Rainn Wilson and the show’s host sketch a nude model.
Make sure to watch the celebrities’ reactions as the older model disrobes at the beginning of the video and to look at the celebrities' finished sketches at the end of the clip. Wilson’s sketch included the Foo Fighters’ logo where the model’s penis should be, while Grohl's picture features the model wearing bunny ears and a slew of easter eggs are where the model’s male parts should be.
While on the show, Grohl pulled himself away from the distraction of the naked man long enough to give a shout out to one of his “favorite metal bands of all time.” The frontman said that he really likes Sepultura, saying, “One of my favorite heavy metal bands of all time is from Brazil. The band is Sepultura ... they are amazing but one of the amazing things they did was make this crazy album called Roots and they incorporated crazy Brazilian instrumentation into the heaviest music you’ve ever heard in your life. It kind of like changed the game. It was the heaviest thing ever. Brazil is nuts man.” Check out that clip from the show below.
Foo Fighters are gearing up for their 2015 North American tour. They kick things off on July 4 in Washington, D.C., and will play through Oct. 7 when they perform in Memphis, Tenn. As for Sepultura, last month they announced that they'll be heading out on a North American tour this May to celebrate their 30th anniversary. Check out the full list of those dates here.
