Community Food Bank is Looking For Protein Donations

The Community Food Bank is looking for protein donations to help fill their emergency food boxes. The Holidays have passes so most of us don't think about making any sort of donations but the need is still there for some in our community.

This week if you have a little time and a couple of extra bucks the Food Bank could use either meat or cash donations. I personal think that cash works best for them as they can buy in bulk and they do buy local which helps our economy.

Hundreds of families in Mesa County are helped each year by the efforts of the Food Bank so if you can help out it would be greatly appreciated.

The Community Food Bank is located at 200 S. Spruce in Grand Junction and is open 11 AM - 2 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
