If you are hoping to spot a UFO, Colorado's UFO Watchtower is the perfect platform for UFO viewing.

The UFO tower is located in Colorado's San Luis Valley, near the small town of Hooper, an area that is apparently well-known as one of the best places in the world to see UFOs.

Judy Mesoline built the tower in 2000 and guests have been stopping by to visit ever since. She says she built the tower because of all the stories of UFO sightings that she heard from local residents.

As towers go, this may be the world's smallest, with the platform only about 10 feet off the ground. But, you do have a completely unobstructed view of the sky, which is exactly where you would expect to find an unidentified flying object.

When it comes to UFO's and space aliens, there are believers and there are skeptics. Mesoline says she has experienced more than two dozen UFO sightings from the tower, which has made a believer out of her.

Two vortexes are located on the site, according to psychics who have visited. Vortexes are places where it's believed energy is leaving or entering the earth. The vortexes are lined by rocks and a myriad of personal items left by visitors, hoping to have a request granted by whatever is there.

There is a campground nearby, a small gift shop, and Judy has the authority to perform weddings at the site for couples desiring an alien-themed wedding and/or marriage.

The UFO Watchtower is open year round with an admission price of $2 per person, or $5 per car. Camping is available nearby. You'll find the watchtower at 2502 County Road 61, about 2.5 miles from Hooper.
