Everybody knows Tyrannosaurus Rex can do some very cool things; run, roar, eat other dinosaurs, etc. Since when do they have the ability to burst into flames? A Colorado park remains open, even though one of their main attractions burnt up today.

Is this how dinosaurs went extinct? Spontaneous combustion? In this case, a freak electrical fire was at fault.

According to KOAA News 5, the Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience in Canon City, Colorado, is picking up the pieces after today's fire near the ropes course. Keep in mind, for some school districts, this is Spring Break. The park opted to remain open despite the "raging" inferno.

What exactly are the ropes courses? According to their official webpage -

To get the road-trip wiggles out and to take advantage of our stunning view of the Royal Gorge Bridge and the mighty Sangre de Christo mountains, we offer two ropes courses, one for junior guests (age 2-9) that is a fun way for them to explore their budding balance, and a large one for the more adventurous—a three story course that will challenge guests to experience fun obstacles at a height of over 24 feet.

As of 4:28 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, the park's website makes no mention of the dinosaur roast.

The park's owner, Zach Reynolds, says he hopes to have the T-Rex replaced by summer. Where exactly does one go to buy a replacement T-Rex?
