If I had $975,000 I’d love to buy this old barn. The rich history behind this beauty is quite remarkable. In 1890 Solomon and Mary Batterson arrived in Fort Collins from New York and with very little money in hand.

In 2010 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Colorado. It’s so impressive that teachers take their kids on school field trips to learn about the Batterson family and a story behind the land.

It has been restored and is so attractive with magnificent highlights, such as, having a studio gallery over the three car garage, three separate cover decks and a spring-fed pond. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Vaulted ceilings with chandeliers and ceiling fans.

There’s land for horses, an outside log fireplace, and wildlife to observe and enjoy. I’m pretty sure if the Batterson Barn was mine I’d be not only in heaven, but I’d be in hibernation forever.
