PBS's Colorado Experience is a longstanding historical series that showcases the people, places and events that have shaped this great state. There's a special screening of the locally produced show, Colorado Experience at The Avalon Theater in Grand Junction on Wednesday, October 12th at 6:00pm!

Ok, I'll admit it. I'm a history buff. I own Ken Burns The Civil War on DVD. So when I heard about the Colorado Experience showing at The Avalon Theatre, I had to share the info. They're screening season 4 episodes, "Dinosaurs" & "Suffrage" in local cities across the state and Grand Junction is up this week!

The screening is presented by the Colorado Office of Film, Television & Media, and Rocky Mountian PBS. There will be a Q & A session. Doors open at 5:30PM. And FREE Admission! Any excuse to get down to the beautiful Avalon Theatre is reason enough. So if good, clean, educational, and FREE family fun sounds like a good time, we'll see you downtown Wednesday evening.
