Five young ladies in the entire country were named to the Women’s Division II Bulletin All-America First Team. Colorado Mesa University Senior  Kelsey Sigl is one of the five.

Sigl, who hails from Bismark, North Dakota led the CMU Mavericks to the NCAA quarterfinals, after claiming the RMAC Regular Season and Shootout Championships, and the NCAA South Central Regional Title. Sigl led the Mavericks in scoring, averaging 18.5 games and also pulled down over 6 rebounds a game. She led the team in three point shooting percentage and free throw shooting percentage.This season she broke the CMU single season scoring record with 610 points.

Among other honors, Sigl was name the RMAC Player of the Year and was name to the Daktronics All-America second team.

Sigl is majoring in Exercise Science at CMU and hopes to continue her basketball career overseas following graduation
