What exactly are the aerodynamic properties of a pumpkin? No doubt you've asked yourself this a thousand times. This Halloween, students at Colorado Mesa University will be putting their Physics knowledge to the test with the annual pumpkin drop.

The Society of Physics present the Ninth Annual SPS Pumpkin Drop at the Plaza at Colorado Mesa University this Halloween, Friday, October 31.

Bring your friends and family and watch in amazement as brave pumpkins plummet to the Earth from 65 feet in the air. To add to the wonder, these aren't just any ordinary pumpkins. These are FROZEN pumpkins!

Please note, you are not required to perform any empirical study of the effects of gravity on pumpkins. You are welcome to come out just for fun.
