The Grand Junction City Council was to hold a hearing on Marijuana retail sales on August 21st, but due to conflics the Council has moved the hearing to September 4th.

City Mayor Sam Susuras will not be in town on the 21str of August so the council has decided to move the hearing

The city council has a proposed ordinance that would ban the retail sale, production, cultivation and manufacturing of Marijuana. This hearing is open to the public and will begin at 7:00pm at the City Hall Auditorium on September 4th. Anyone can speak on the topic regardless of which side of the issue they stand on. I don't really understand why this has become such an issue for some people. The vote was taken and it passed so deal with it. Besides how much tax money will Grand Junction lose out on if this passes? I didn't realize that our city was so rich they could just throw tax dollars away. If you have something to say on the topic I think you should attend the hearing on September 4th and make your voice heard.
