If you've not done it lately, take an evening and slip up on the Colorado National Monument at sunset. The already spectacular scenery takes on a beautiful, cool, different look as the sun goes down.

The Urban Dictionary defines "Chillax" "To chill and to relax at the EXACT same time." It's one of my favorite terms. There's no better place to do some than sitting on top of The Monument and watching everything change colors before your eyes.

My old i-Phone pictures hardly do it justice. You must see it for yourself. Not only is the view spectacular, it's so quiet you can hear your heartbeat. Just 30 minutes right before dark can take a crappy day and turn it into a better evening. And dude, not to mention it can score some points with your significant other. Chicks dig that whole "romantic sunset" thing. It was cool solo. Better having someone tag along.

Just before dark, in the distance, the Bookends turn purple. The cliffs in the Monument turn from shades of brown to a dark red. It's amazing stuff. Plus it will do wonders for your vibe. This weekend's weather looks great!  Just might be the perfect time to do some sunset "chillax'n".
