Chili + Beer + Community Shines at Grand Junction Southwest Arbor Fest [PHOTOS]

Soutwest Arbor Fest in Grand Junction was full of summer goodness! If you missed it this past weekend you missed out on an awesome event.

Kids were playing on the new playground at Lincoln Park, booths and venders were selling everything from screen tees, artisan clothes and jewelry, healthy and not so healthy snacks and everything in between.

Local musicians kept the crowds entertained as they sampled chili from participants in search of Southwest Arbor Fest's best southwest feast.

Not to mention all the "big kids" sampling over 50 handcrafted beers from your finest Colorado breweries.

Taste buds were destroyed during the jalapeno pepper eating contest, we're surprised these guys didn't burst into flames.

All in all, Southwest Arbor Fest was such a huge success you don't want to miss it next year.
