The best advice I can give is to stay off of 1st street between North Avenue to Ouray Avenue. During rush hours North Avenue is backed up in both directions and southbound 1st street traffic is backed up for blocks.

According to The Colorado Department of Transportation, traffic deaths are on the rise. The reasons may surprise you. Perhaps you're guilty of one of the causes.

I've not lived here long but one thing I've noticed in my limited time here is that road construction is always underway somewhere in Grand Junction. Traffic is down to one lane on 1st Street.

Got a chance to go for a short ride in the world famous Wienermobile with "Hotdoggers" Taylor and Spicy Mayo (stage name perhaps). These girls are out on the road spreading wiener love...that sounded weird, sorry...the fact is they do get work representing Oscar Mayer everywhere they go.

If you really want to get noticed driving down the street, the best ride isn't a Corvette, Porsche, or a lifted 4x4. There's no better head turner than the world famous Wienermobile!

Utah highway 128, or as the locals refer to it as "The River Road", is an amazing drive. I took to the road over the weekend. I never missed my motorcycle more than when I was rounding the curves on this scenic stretch of highway.

It's another Junction first for me. This Saturday's Fuoco Motor Company downtown car show was one of the better I've attended in some time. Car shows and radio go hand in hand, so it was no surprise that our sister station Classic Hits, KOOL 107.9 was a sponsor. That being the case, I had to get downtown and check it out.
