For the second time in as many games, the Boston Bruins beat the Pittsburgh Penguins to take a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. I must say I’m shocked. Just a few days ago I picked the Penguins to win this series in six games. While this could still happen, I don’t think so. The Bruins have hitPittsburghwith a couple of heavy shots and the Penguins response has been one goal.

The first game of this series was Saturday night inPittsburgh. When you’re the road team in a best if seven, the goal is to steal one of the first two games. The Bruins did just that in game one. They scored three goals in the game and Tuukka Rask stopped all 29 shots he faced to give the Bruins a game one win.

The Bruins came out in game two relaxed with nothing to lose and they didn’t. In the first: 28 seconds Brad Marchand hit the back of the net and the route was on. The Bruins would add two more in the first and chase the Penguins goalie Tomas Vokoun from the game. Marc-Andre Fleury came in for the Penguins and gave up three goals as the Bruins won game two 6-1.

Game three of the series will take place Wednesday night inBoston. This is a must win forPittsburgh. The Penguins have a ton of talent but I don’t think they have enough go-go juice to make that run, if they lose and go down 3-0 toBoston.
