Breckenridge is one of Colorado's most popular ski resorts and has the highest skiers in the entire country.

Now, one would expect ski resorts in Colorado to have high skiers. After all, Colorado is known for having legalized recreational marijuana. But, that's not the kind of high I'm talking about.

Not only does Breckenridge have the highest ski lift in Colorado, it actually has the highest ski lift in all of North America, dropping skiers from an elevation of 13,000 feet. By comparison, the top elevation at Powderhorn is 9,850 feet.

Some ski resorts in Colorado may boast of a higher peak, but that doesn't mean the lift necessarily goes that high.

According to The Perfect Snow, Breckenridge is the seventh highest ski resort in the entire world. The highest ski resort is in the Andes Mountains of Bolivia with an elevation of nearly 18,000 feet, slightly higher than base camp on Mt. Everest.

So, if you want to ski really high, Breckenridge is the place to go, and there are still plenty of ski days remaining.
