Big Game Tonight For The Mavericks

I may be new to town but I'm football fan enough to know this evening's game is a big one for the 5-1 CMU Mavericks as then take on Dixie State.

After the disappointing loss at Black Hills State last Saturday, the Colorado Mesa University football team must bounce back to keep their championship hopes alive. I'm no football annalist but know that 6 turnovers will do you in at any level and ball security will be a focus this evening at Stocker Stadium.

CMU enters this week's game with a 5-1 record. Dixie State enters with a 3-3 record and has won its last two games. Anyway you look at it, it's a big game. With this evening's weather nearly perfect, there's no reason all football fans shouldn't come out for this one. My place is a but a few blocks from the stadium so I can walk. I have my ticket and look forward to taking in my first CMU Maverick's football game. Kickoff is at 7. We'll see you there. Go Mavericks!
