What's better than Black Friday? Fresh Air Friday! Next Friday, November 24th it's your chance to enjoy the Colorado State Parks for free.
Colorado Parks & Wildlife gives everyone something to be thankful for this holiday weekend. Instead of packing into the mall how about heading to the great outdoors?
CP&W have partnered with Great Outdoors Colorado to offer free access to all 41 Colorado state parks on the 24th.
What is the COCO? In 1992 voters approved the Great Outdoors Colorado Amendment redirecting lottery funds for construction projects that protect and improve Colorado’s wildlife, parks, rivers, and trails. The Amendment also created the State Board of the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund to distribute that money. One of their prize promotions is Fresh Air Friday.
This year for added fun, select Colorado State Parks are participating in a photo scavenger hunt. Bring the family and head to one of the eight participating state parks. Prizes for completing the photo hunt list include state park passes, Colorado Parks & Wildlife swag, subscriptions to Colorado Outdoors magazine and more!
