    THE WINERY RESTAURANT

    642 Main Street

Last year, The Winery was named The Most Romantic Restaurant in Colorado by Only in Your State. One visit and you will understand why. Good food, good wine, good atmosphere - the result is a great recipe for romance. From steak and seafood to great desserts and wine, if you want to take your time and enjoy the romance, The Winery is the perfect place.

Wine is a very common theme for Grand Junction and Palisade. That is not any different for this restaurant. They are in the older part of the downtown area. It is a great place to a romantic dinner. We were there for our anniversary. The service was great. The food was excellent. It's kind of dark, but that's part of the romance.

    LE ROUGE

    317 Main Street

If French cuisine is in your wheelhouse, then Le Rouge is the place for food, wine, and atmosphere. If you go here, you might want to include a  romantic after dinner walk down Main Street looking at art sculptures.

We had an anniversary dinner at Le Rouge last week and we're delighted with the fare and flavor. It reminded us of our dinners in France.
The dishes were creative, tasty and very nicely prepared. I would recommend it for couples especially.

    626 ON ROOD

    626 Rood

Fine dining has become a trademark of 626 on Rood, with steak and beef options, seafood, and fine wine. Their website describes it as a "modern restaurant where wine and food are expressions of place and tasting is a sensory experience."

My hubby and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. The food was delicious and expertly prepared, the service was superb, and we both really enjoyed sampling a couple of "wine flights", which are 3 different wines with some element in common (varietal, country of origin, etc.) served in small portions of a few ounces each. Even though the restaurant was busy when we dined, the atmosphere was not noisy at all. The overall experience was so sublime we were tempted to go back again the next night! Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing evening of great food, excellent drinks, and friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service.

    il Bistro Italiano

    400 Main Street

Perhaps the best way to describe Il Bistro would be "authentic." If you want authentic  Northern Italian food, this is the place.  They also specialize in Italian wines and liqueurs. There is something very romantic about an Italian dinner.

Our first time in Grand Junction. We were looking for a nice, cozy place to eat. We found il Bistro Italiano on tripadvisor. It was very welcoming, nice atmosphere with white linen table cloth and nicely folded dark red napkins. The food was excellent, very good prices and a great waiter. We can highly recommend this restaurant, a great experience while visiting CO from Maine.

Outstanding food and good service. My wife and I had a shoe delivery to make in Grand Junction at Mario's Shoe Design and decided to stay in town for dinner and celebrate Valentines Day.
What a delightful surprise! From starter to dessert it was a perfect combination of fish, meat, vegetable and subtlety sweet dessert. We had a great time at a reasonable price!
If it is for either a romantic, business or just a casual dinner, BIN 707 is the place to go.
