If you're not ready for winter and snow, you might want to find another place to live. It's only the end of August, but some Colorado mountains have already seen snow.

Colorado's weather is what makes this place so awesome to live. Mother Nature's ever-changing temperament keeps Coloradans on their toes.

For some of us, we're waiting for the leaves to sport their fall colors. While others are waiting for feet of snow to fall on their favorite ski run.

There has been quite a bit of moisture blowing into Colorado leading to rain in the valleys and mountains, but some higher elevations received a dusting of snow. Breckenridge shared a couple photos of the snow on their range. Aspen Snowmass also shared snow on Maroon Bells. Ophir Pass and some of the San Juans have the white stuff contrasting their red and green backdrops.

If you're ready for snow or not, it's on its way.
