Aerosmith Will Play Denver Stop, Just Without Drummer Joey Kramer
The night many rock fans in Colorado have been waiting for, for a long time is finally here. Slash and Aerosmith are scheduled to play the Pepsi Center tonight (August 19th), but we have a had a bunch of calls wondering if the show is even happening. Short answer is yes!
The longer version of the answer, and the reason people are even asking is because Aerosmith's drummer, Joey Kramer, fell ill before the band’s Aug. 13 tour stop in Concord, CA, forcing the cancellation of the gig and putting the group in a temporary bind while he’s on the mend following what’s being called a “minor medical procedure.”
The band quickly found a fill-in, Joey’s son, Jesse Sky Kramer, and they were back on schedule with their tour since Saturday night (August 16th).
