I've said it before. People who don't like Girl Scout cookies have never eaten Girl Scout cookies.

When it comes to Girl Scout cookies, most people have a particular favorite. There doesn't seem to be any doubt that Thin Mints are the most popular, however, I have found that my favorite Girl Scout cookie is whatever kind I'm eating at the moment.

I recently had McKenzie O'Dell, a 9-year-old girl scout, and her mother, Christina, who is a Recruitment and Volunteer Support Specialist for the Girl Scouts of Colorado, in the studio to talk about Girl Scout cookies. I don't think I've ever had anyone describe the goodness of the cookies quite like McKenzie.

Listen to the interview above at your own risk. Chances are, after hearing McKenzie's description of each delicious kind of cookie,  you are going to be searching for a place to buy a few boxes of Girl Scout cookies. Sure, we buy Girl Scout cookies because we want to support the girls and the program. But, the bottom line is, as McKenzie quotes Willy Wonka, we buy them because they are simply "scrumdiddlyumptious."

Friends may ask you to buy, or you may see the girls while you're out shopping this weekend. Or, you can go to the Girl Scouts website to find a cookie booth near you and an opportunity to make a purchase online.
