I'm not familiar with the history but this has to be one of the largest rock festivals in the state of Colorado. I did hear of Riot Fest in Denver September 2-4th. It looks interesting. I'm a Deftones fan, and there's a long list of bands at Riot, but I'm not sure the quality measures up to High Elevation.

Of course being the homer I'm excited for Shaman's Harvest.  It's going to be very cool to see the boys rock a crowd this large.

 I'm a Texas Hippie Coalition fan too. They have a style all their own and bring it every live performance.
