Date night doesn't have to break the bank. There are several great places to enjoy an inexpensive date night in Grand Junction.

Mini Golf

Bananas Fun Park has a pretty great mini golf course. It's challenging enough, but you won't be pulling your hair out. It's also quite affordable, so you won't break the bank.

Bowling

Spin City has a really awesome bowling area. Their system uses a newer technology, so the pins aren't actually free standing, which means you don't wait as long for them to re-rack, which is kind of nice. Another nice fact about bowling at Spin City is that they also have a skating rink, so you could double duty the date without having to drive somewhere else.

Froyo

There are several Frozen Yogurt establishments in the valley, I even wrote an article earlier this year on them all. However, if you're wanting to keep it close to town, Cherry Berry is off of Twenty Four road, and Red Mango is out by the Rimrock Wal-Mart. Frozen Yogurt is a really fun, and inexpensive date night idea because you can mix and mingle your flavors, and try silly and fun topping combinations.

Dinner and A Movie

Every Tuesday night, the Avalon Theater Downtown plays a popular movie. Most restaurants downtown will offer a "Dinner And A Movie" special discount. You'll need to contact the restaurant of your choice ahead of time to see if they offer the discount.

Movie Under The Stars

The Glade Park Fire Department plays a movie under the stars, every Friday night. They sell burgers and hot dogs, and beverages for very fair prices as well. We just so happen to have the full list of Glad Park Movies, right here on the Mix 1043 website!

I hope you enjoy your cheap date night in Grand Junction!
