A mother in Delaware was arrested after her four-year-old daughter took 249 bags of heroin to daycare and started handing it out thinking it was candy.

According to USA Today, a total of 3.735 grams of heroin was found, enough for a felony possession charge, but the mother was not charged for possession or as a suspected dealer.

Ashley Tull, 30, of Selbyville Del., was charged with maintaining a drug property and three counts of child endangering. She was free on a $6,000 secured bail.

None of the heroin packets were opened by any of the children, but as a precaution several children were checked out at area hospitals.

Tull has two other children, a 9-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl who have been placed with a relative. Tull has been ordered to have no contact with the children.
