The CMU Lady Maverick's basketball team, ranked nationally for week 8 at #4 in the USA Today/WBCA poll, improved their record to 17-0 this weekend. The CMU Men's basketball team also swept the weekend and improved to 13-4.The Colorado Mesa University Women's team had another strong night at home in Brownson Arena versus the women of Regis University from Denver. The Mavs came out on top 74-58 to remain unbeaten and marking their record in the RMAC conference at 13-0. There is a three way tie for second with records of 10-3.

The CMU Men's Basketball team also won a very physical contest Saturday night against Regis, improving their RMAC record to 10-3 on the season. The final score for the men's game was 77-45.

Both teams travel to the Mile High Metro area for games next Friday and Saturday. Friday night CMU will be in Golden, CO to tackle the Colorado School of Mines, with game time for the women starting at 6:00 p.m. with the men's contest just after. Saturday they will be playing at the CCU Events Center in Lakewood, CO against Colorado Christian University with the tip off happening at 5:00 p.m. Both games will be broadcasted on the Home Loan Mavericks Sports Radio Network on AM1230 KEXO and on www.kexo1230.com. The pregame show starts 15 minutes before tip-off so tune in and cheer on the Lady Mavs as they continue their perfect run and the men as they extend their winning streak.
